School CampsNEW

Take your school camp to the majestic Mornington Peninsula

We are surrounded by water, nature reserves and history from the first settlers. A perfect environment for students to learn and have a great time at only 1,5h drive from CBD Melbourne.

We can offer many options for your school camp. Tell us what parts of the VELS curiculum you would like to cover and we'll put together an activity program around it. Click here for the Bayplay VELS guide. A couple of examples for school camps:

VELS

Click here for our VELS guide showing how activities are linked to the relevant domains in VELS from year 5 to year 12. All activities can be tailored to the school’s learning goals.

Educational Goals & Progressive Learning

Activities are offered at a range of levels so students can continue their learning as they grow older.

During the course of the activities, we seek to achieve the following outcomes:

  • To learn about the plants and animals within different ecosystems
  • To understand the components and factors that affect how ecosystems function
  • To learn about the ways humans affect the surrounding environment
  • To become informed and involved members of the community
  • To engage in positive learning and social experience beyond the classroom
  • To have fun!

Professionalism & Equipment

Our instructors and guides are experts in their field and have a great rapport with youngsters that ensures your students will have a safe, fun and rich learning experience.

All equipment is from quality brands and regularly maintained and checked.

Behind the scenes

Let us take the hassle out of organising your next field trip. We can organise logistics, catering and additional teacher resources for you. We offer school presentations to familiarise kids with the educational program and give them something exciting to look forward to.

For adventure camps we also offer group accommodation. We have a beautiful lodge based in Blairgowrie that sleeps around 40 people. Please click here for more information on our school camp accommodation.

Tailor Made

School trips can be tailored to suit your budget and objectives. Day tours run from Melbourne locations and on the Mornington Peninsula, depending on the activity.
